This piece was created for the cover of The Irish Field. I was asked to come up with a government bond style image that incorporated a headshot of the horse Dunguib.
Due to the imminent deadline I used some stock illustration for the border decoration. A halftone pattern was applied to Dunguib’s portrait to give it the look and feel of a bond. The oval border also contains a guilloche, a common feature on legal tender due to it’s difficulty to copy and reproduce.
