This artwork was created for a feature piece on bioenergy. I was asked to create a collage with images of wind turbines, a miscanthus crop, an anaerobic digester and a power plant. Instead of putting the images together in a traditional montage style with feathered edges, I decided to create a single scene incorporating each of the required elements.
The images were carefully sourced from the Irish Farmers Journal archive to ensure that they were suitable for use together. The images were then overlaid together to create a balanced piece which featured an unlikely, but believable scene.
