For this piece of artwork the euro symbol was extremely important. I settled on Myriad Pro as the euro symbol in this typeface has a beautiful symmetry.
The euro symbols inside the larger euro symbol were created by making a custom brush in Photoshop and painting several layers on top of each other to acheive the desired effect.
